STATIONS

We reach every corner of the province. The Castellón Province Fire Department counts on a strategically distributed fire stations network. Four Professional Stations cover the most populated areas, and five Volunteer Stations cover the interior of the province. There are also 12 Rural Emergency Stations, which act as the headquarters of the Forest Firefighters Units.

Volunteer Firefighters Station Els Ports

The Volunteer Firefighters Station Els Ports is located in Morella, and from that location it covers a wide area situated inland in the north of the Castellón province. This station owns most of the CPBC means intended for snowstorms.

Professional Firefighters Station Baix Maestrat

The Professional Firefighters Station Baix Maestrat is located in Benicarló, strategically situated in the northern coast of the province. It was the first station opened by the CPBC on July 1, 1988. Its new facilities were inaugurated on March 13, 2013.

Volunteer Firefighters Station Alt Maestrat

The Volunteer Firefighters Station Alt Maestrat is located in Benassal, inland in the north of Castellón province. Currently its facilities are temporary, since a new station is being built to replace them.

Volunteer Firefighters Station Maestrat-Alcalatén

The Volunteer Firefighters Station Maestrat-Alcalatén is located in Atzeneta del Maestrat, in the province’s inland, in a strategic location that covers the surroundings of Mount Penyagolosa, one of the most environmentally valuable areas of the province.

Volunteer Firefighters Station L’Alcalatén

The Volunteer Firefighters Station L’Alcalatén is located in Llucena, in the province’s inland, in a zone with a great forestry value, but also near towns with ceramic industry and more than 10.000 inhabitants such as l’Alcora.

Volunteer Firefighters Station Espadà-Millars

The Volunteer Firefighters Station Espadà-Millars was the first volunteer station opened by the Castellón Province Fire Department in 1990. It is strategically located in Onda, close to important forestry areas and also big industrial ceramic zones.

Professional Firefighters Station Alt Palància

The Professional Firefighters Station Alt Palància is located in Segorbe, inland in the south of Castellón province. It covers a zone with a high environmental and landscape value, and its particular feature is that it includes a great number of small villages.

Professional Firefighters Station Plana Baixa

The Professional Firefighters Station Plana Alta is located in Orpesa. It strategically covers a wide coastal area, one of the most populated zones of Castellón province, with a lot of road communications, nature, industry, and tourist areas with high occupancy rates.

Professional Firefighters Station Plana Alta

Located in Castelló de la Plana, the CPBC Central Services are the heart of the management, the communication and the administration of the CPBC. In their facilities we can find the Provincial Centre of Coordination, which operates 24 hours a day, and also administrative area departments, the coordination and training departments, and a heliport.
