The General Negotiation Table, chaired by the provincial deputy of the Firefighters Consortium, David Vicente, has unanimously approved the approval of the bases that will govern the call to cover all the vacant positions of the RPT. “Today’s approval at the General Negotiation Table is an important step to continue with the entire process to respond to the needs of the fire department and administrative staff, in terms of personnel,” indicated the deputy, who added that since The provincial government “continues with the commitment given to streamline administrative procedures to make the incorporation of new personnel a reality in the shortest possible time.”

In addition to the unanimity achieved in the approval of the bases for various jobs such as firefighter, corporal, sergeant, non-commissioned officer and communications operator, deputy David Vicente has highlighted that the provincial executive has opened participation in opposition groups to the negotiation table in order to guarantee transparency. “From the provincial government chaired by Marta Barrachina we advocate work based on dialogue and consensus and that is why, by allowing assistance to opposition political groups, we guarantee the information and transparency of the debate that occurs in these negotiation tables.”

After the approval of the bases at the General Negotiation Table today, the next step will be their publication in the Official Gazette of the Province.

In addition to the coverage of these positions in the Provincial Firefighters Consortium, the Provincial Council of Castellón reinforces the institution’s staff with the approval of the 2023 Public Employment Offer that includes 24 positions. The call, already approved unanimously at the Negotiation Table, increases by 25% compared to the 2022 OEP and includes 19 free shift positions and 5 for internal promotion. A job offer with which the provincial institution seeks to provide stability to the workforce and guarantee quality public services.
